Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment (Buddha): Human rights in digital age

In general

This paper stands for a continuation of author´s arguments delivered during the seminars in Vienna (2019), Rome (2023), Shenzhen (2024), Madrid (2025), Shandong (2025) and other locations. It offers a prove that all previous key statements in regard to the state of the human rights in general and the differences between them in the West and the East are still valid.

Prologue

For decades, the metaphor of spaceship Earth has evoked a sense of shared responsibility for our future and the environment. It stands also for the official Chinese politics as represented by president Si. It suggests that we are all crew members on a fragile planetary ship who must work together. Somewhat soothing, in times of anthropological war, war of political and cultural values, commercial advantages and military adventures within a framework of destroyed international and national laws, agreements, peaceful and civic co-existence.

But what if the reality of controlling this ship is not a joint effort, but rather the implementation of a huge top-down control system? What, if in the cockpit are only a select few, while the vast majority of us were doomed to the role of passengers, whose lives are governed by an invisible, adaptive logic over which we have no influence? And who would select this few?

This is a vision that has been developing for more than a century. It does not begin with Barbara Ward (1914-1981) or Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983) in the 1960s, but in revolutionary Russia with Alexander Bogdanov’s (1873-1928) concept of the integral man. It stands for a scientifically organized humanity united according to the principles of universal systems.

To understand the potential future of global governance, as formulated by this Russian physician, philosopher, who pioneered blood transfusion, as well as general systems theory, and made important contributions to cybernetics, we need to trace this genealogy from Bogdanov’s tektology, through general systems theory, to today’s digital governance infrastructure. And we need recognize that what appears to be new is in fact the culmination of a consistent intellectual project systematically developed and implemented for more than 110 years. We can see that what appears to be a discontinuous development is in fact a continuous evolution.

The Red Star of today

In 1908, Bogdanov published the novel The Red Star, a utopian novel describing a scientifically controlled Martian society. It focuses on the communist society on Mars, the Russian revolution, and class struggle on two planets. While portraying a harmonious and rational socialist society, this work sketches out the problems that face industrialized nations, whether socialist or capitalist, even today. The novel therefore, is very actual and worth to be studied.

On Mars, individual desires are overcome and society functions as a single organism. Resources are optimally distributed through perfect information systems, while the collective operates according to rational principles with machine-like efficiency. Conflicts have been eliminated thanks to scientific organization. In this context, it seems less like fiction than a plan.

More than a century later, we are building a new Bogdanov’s Red Star on Earth. China is on the forefront. Many of us do not understand it, and why it is so. The spacecraft is modernized with the control systems the human being envisioned. The difference is that Bogdanov’s Martians chose their system themselves. We have been building it around us, not primarily as a political decision, but as a technical necessity imposed by a few technological oligarchs and modern capitalists and as the only rational answer to complexity. This offers a possible solution to the current planetary chaos - a way to finally establish order through scientific socialism.

However, this order has a price: the end of pluralism, the loss of the ability to influence the world at the local level, and the consolidation of power in the hands of a technocratic elite that controls while the rest (conscious slaves) is controlled. Activating the UN Fallback Platform is the last command in the pre-installed global operating system.

If this platform is triggered by a comprehensive global shock - defined not by public debate, but by the black box calculations of artificial intelligence models, it will unleash the full, integrated power of the control rails. The system is already built. The infrastructure is functional, the tracks are laid, and the emergency platform is simply waiting for its algorithmic trigger.

The challenge for humanity, therefore, is to collectively recognize what was built before the activation sequence was completed - and whether we will retain the ability to reject the planetary equilibrium achieved by optimizing humanity as a controlled variable in overall human ecosystem, ignoring at the same time the natural laws.

In the context it should not be forgotten, that Bogdanov’s integral man has never been about collective decision-making, but about collective management!

The navigators

There is no time describe the history of navigators in full, including those modern, as represented for instance by Peter Andreas Thiel (1967) although all navigators are identifiable actors and institutional manifestations span several generations. For this seminar it is enough to consider the position of Peter Thiel and a few members of the Rothschild banking dynasty.

Thiel, also known to be close to vice president JD Vance recently (15-18th March) in the Vatican’s backyard offered a four-lecture series on the Antichrist in a cooperation with Gioberti group. The lectures were by invitation-only and at very high price for a ticket. The Rome lectures appear to follow the blueprint of a four-part lecture series he gave in San Francisco last September.

The Vatican has decided to intervene in one of the most profound debates of the moment: The role of technology in the future of humanity. He has done it through its official newspaper, L’Osservatore Romano. In an article published on March 17 and signed by the Italian philosopher Eugenio Mazzarella he launched a direct criticism of the thought of the American entrepreneur Thiel. It is not common for the Vatican newspaper to use expressions like false prophets. It is also not a rhetorical metaphor, but a conceptual accusation: Silicon Valley’s technological promise is not a solution to the human problem, but an illusion of salvation.

As far as the Rothschild dynasty is concerned, it is between others synonymous with control of the monetary system within the governance framework, therefore their activities influence HR.

Since 1988, Evelyn de Rothschild has participated in an interreligious dialogue (with the Duke of Edinburgh and Crown Prince Hassan of Jordan), which brought together Christian, Muslim and Jewish leaders, theologians and business figures. The result was the Interreligious Declaration: Code of Ethics for International Trade (1993). The Declaration explicitly provides a moral basis for international business activities and principles of ethical behaviour for solving business dilemmas. It sets normative standards for company behaviour, stakeholder relations, and resource management, by creating an ethical framework.

Edmund de Rothschild laid the philosophical, teleological and practical foundations for the financial infrastructure (1977-1990). In 2019, CNN profiled him under the headline Has the ‘Earth spaceship’ found its navigator? Explicitly using Buckminster Fuller’s metaphor spaceship Earth, he presents himself as someone who is working to find a compromise between resource extraction and sustainability and explains that his goal is to see how the economy can really include all people and really reintegrate with nature.

There is no time to talk about the activities of other members of the Rothschild dynasty. The fact is, that the Council provides institutional mechanisms: finance, business actors and moral authority, using the Vatican.

This pattern reveals an intergenerational strategy. It manifests itself at all levels of the hierarchy. The Vatican preaches that we are equal before God. The City of London ensures that we are not equal to the market. The Pentagon makes sure that anyone who wants to correct this inequality by force is corrected even by more violence. All three functions - spiritual legitimization, economic control, military guarantee - are inseparable and necessary.

Together, they form a system that is so complex, so dispersed and so normalizing everyday life that it does not appear to be a system at all. It appears as the natural order of things. Therefore, our ability to question the very purpose is diminishing.

Because the entire global system is structurally and financially tied to them, we are passengers on a journey whose destination and direction we have not chosen and cannot change. Our role is to be well-managed components whose behaviour adapts seamlessly to the needs of the system. This is Bogdanov’s integral man in practice: not individual consciousness, but controlled participation in a single, optimized whole.

Considering another concept, the Omega point by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955), a scientist, paleontologist, researcher in China (taking part in the discovery of the significant Peking Man fossils from the Zhoukoudian cave complex), Jantsch’s hierarchy as the driving force behind the secular, materialistic point of the Omega, the goal-oriented level is an attractor. The digital infrastructure represents an increase in complexity. The final convergence is not spiritual unity in God, but a fully integrated, autonomously governed planetary system: a techno-utopia in which humanity is united under a single, optimized model of governance.

In this context what Yuval Noah Hararia, a key person at WEF Davos, popularizes is not a new philosophy coming out of Silicon Valley. It is Lenin’s accounting and control system, implemented through a digital infrastructure that Lenin could not imagine. But accounting alone does not ensure compliance. Why? Those who control the currency also control the regulatory body of the system, which translates violations into tangible consequences. The navigator on this path is not the divine consciousness, but the system itself. It is the complex of artificial intelligence (as multidimensional approximation), data networks and the elite human technocracy that rules it. Their influence is absolute, as only they can interpret data, adapt algorithms, and control large-scale automated machines towards its predetermined goal.

This whole structure reflects the medieval worldview of St. Thomas Aquinas and the great chain of being. In the current technocratic model, the divine purpose is determined by fallible, unelected institutions, and the natural law stands for a constructed ethics enforced by algorithms whose logic can be opaque. It is a hierarchy with no guaranteed goodwill, but with efficiency only. It is therefore important to embark on a new definition of human rights, at least in China.

The concept of just war and human rights

The very idea of a just war is relative one. The rules are set by those who have the power. The concept often serves as a justification for the interests of the dominant party. HR do not interest at all, as the interests and the money govern our life, although the HR have it roots in the nature.

The concept of just war has existed since antiquity. Cicero considered war permissible to defend against aggression and restore justice. Augustine allowed armed confrontation for the sake of peace and the protection of order. Thomas Aquinas added conditions: only a legitimate authority can declare war, the reason must be just, and the intentions must be ethical. Today, the acting US president sets his own and personal moral standards and spreads a fear round the world.

Therefore, we need consider the previously said, the evolution of the universe from its origins up to socio-economic and technical systems of today’s mankind, and also the concept of energy / information transformation processes. They all determine the structure of systems and control the system’s behaviour on each and every level. Only then we would be able to enter into the frightening and elegant logic. It does not explain, how one person with a power act, but it explains the abyss.

The abyss (or gap) shows itself when we look at decisions that are incomprehensible to us. When policies that harm millions are adopted for no apparent reason. When the destruction of seemingly stable systems - economic, family, cultural - proceeds with incompetence and chaotically. But chaos has not been made by failure, but by preparing the ground for something new. Crowley Thelema says it openly: Do what you want - that is the whole law. President Trump acts in accordance to this. We should listen to him, but not believe in everything he says.

Moral economics and human rights

It is a form of capitalism in which financial actors work only for those who meet normative standards. It is an explicit cyber control system, presented as an ethical necessity and implemented by those who have direct access to monetary policy control mechanisms.

Members of banking dynasties literally position themselves as navigators of Earth’s spaceship, establishing a circular economy for materials and natural capital markets for ecosystems through moral authority and financial architecture. Bogdanov’s vision of a scientifically organized humanity as a single, controlled organism finds its current expression in this intergenerational project of financializing material flows and natural systems within the framework of a synthesized global ethic, all leading to Teilhard’s Omega point.

Having said this, one more detail is worth mentioning. In 1942, British Marxist scientists wrote a report: Science and Ethics. In the report they argued that ethics must be derived from science, that the direction of evolution brings objective good, and that humanity should be guided by a universal moral framework based on scientific rationality. It doesn´t wonder that Miriam Rothschild was among the contributors and six years later, in 1948, she co-founded the International Union for Conservation of Nature with Julian Huxley - transforming the planetary ethics that emerged from science into an institutional authority with a global reach.

Therefore, the journey from Bogdanov’s integral man through tectology, general systems theory, Jantsch hierarchy, Svidler’s normative architecture to today’s automated control driven by the goal of sustainable development is a cohesive, centuries-long intellectual and institutional project whose roots go back to revolutionary politics. Something the Chinese know. What the young may not be well aware of, or even don´t know in detail, are following facts.

Three islands in the sea of civilizations that share one peculiarity

Technically they are not what they look like. Why?

The Vatican is spread over forty-four hectares and its address is Rome, Italy for reference only. In fact, it is the smallest sovereign state in the world with its own diplomacy, its own police, their own ban and archives, the contents of which would be rewritten by history textbooks if they were opened.

The Vatican does manage spiritual matters only, but the sense. The subtle, incomprehensible substance without which every civilization sooner or later falls apart. Why? Who controls the meaning, controls what people dare to wish for at all. The question is: Who controls the sense?

City of London, is not a London, but a square mile with its own lord mayor, its own police, and its own flag. This square mile does not pay taxes to the British Crown like other cities. It’s a corporate entity which precedes the English State and which exists in its territory as a guest who never moved out, because he actually owns the house. The home to the oldest banking houses in the world. They made Bank of England bankrupt only to establish the FED. Their decisions affect all of us, although no one was elected there. No one can be dismissed there.

The District of Columbia (D.C.) is ten square miles of land that belongs to the federal government and does not belong to any the U.S. state. The people of D.C. are practically citizens without full political representation in their own country - a paradox built into the very architecture of the world’s largest democracy. It’s a place where the lobby meets the law, where arms contracts get their stamp and where the national and security interests are translated into languages that even congressional committees do not fully understand as only a few understand the mentioned three entities. Three kinds of power dancing. And one invisible above them.

One mutual dance

The dance has been organized for the middle class, which is not just an economic category, but a political entity. It has education, information, time, organizational skills, historical memory, and - in liberal democracies - the right to vote, which changes nothing. It’s exactly the layer that overthrew the feudal system in the 18th and 19th centuries. Which financed revolutions.

For the elites, who are about to carry out the greatest social transformation since the end of feudalism, this class stands for a double problem: unnecessary and dangerous. Unnecessary, because the machines will replace the class work. Dangerous because the class knows enough to understand what is happening. Therefore, a preventive strategy is being pursued simultaneously on two fronts: On the economic front by the systematic erosion of the conditions of independence, inflation and pricing of real estate, cutting off new generations from ownership of a simple flat. A challenge for human rights in the West and in the East has been created by a polarization, which divides the class against itself along cultural lines, while the relevant economic line and the previously mentioned war, remains out of focus.

The solution of the challenge for the human rights

It does not lie in the defeat of the enemy by his own tools. It lies in the stripping away of what made us suitable victim. In the rejection of their language, their measure of value, their definition of man. Returning to what the ancient traditions knew and what the modern system hates: that a human being endowed with consciousness cannot be permanently reduced to function.

When a person understands that he is not a number, a credit or an obedient slave without consciousness he begins to move what hitherto seemed motionless. Not with their money. Not by their algorithm. But knowing that meaning cannot be calculated and will be revealed: a being who once woke up to himself, cannot be completely reverted back to the role of the tool.

This is a law of the nature, physics and the prove that machine has no idea. It just executes. Silicon dictators and banker´s dynasties want from us obedience without awareness. They have forgotten what distinguishes man from the machine: It is the awareness. An inconspicuous photon of light from which thought is born. And a single photon is enough for darkness to cease to be complete. Two people are two photons. We here present stand for a light before which darkness cannot stand. The stream of light I can observe shows the way out of the darkness.

Conclusion

The poorly organized war in Iran, which was started by a declining empire, marked the end of American world domination. It confirms, that we all were born as an original. We should not die as a copy. Thank you for your attention. Consent not needed. 08.04.2026
